At one time, I served in the forces of a powerful Daimyo. As a devoted samurai, I served the realm and performed many deeds of valor.

Then one day, dark clouds rolled over the land. I was given a task I could not perform. It was a misinformed task that I felt would only bring harm and sorrow. With deep regret, I had no choice but to leave the Daimyo and my fellow samurai.

I am now a ronin, masterless, but free to roam the lands, to help and enlighten others, and to relieve suffering when I can.

I wander the Pacific Northwest, in the mountains, in the valleys, along the rivers and the coast. And I see things in the world that are excellent (sugoi) and things that are not so good (yokunai).
