The unexpected interaction between CBD and THC in caffeinated beverages. Apparently THC, CBD and caffeine interact and can make you feel overconfident, even though you are impaired.
Paper here. This method was designed to model how a consumer might slowly drink a cannabis-infused beverage at a social event. The total dosages administered were 7.5 milligrams of THC, 180 milligrams of caffeine, and 105 milligrams of CBD. These amounts were selected to reflect the potency of products currently available on retail shelves. When participants consumed the THC and caffeine mixture, they expressed a slightly higher willingness to drive compared to when they consumed THC alone. This increased confidence occurred despite the fact that their actual driving performance on the simulator remained impaired. This disconnect suggests that caffeine might mask feelings of sedation without restoring the physical and mental skills necessary for safety.

The Oregon Scorecard. Gonna bookmark this. Oregon's scores are low, and is the reason why we're in the fix we're in. Seems all the government knows how to do is get federal subsidies for this and that and to tax people and collect fees for the rest.

Gavin Newsom moves to neutralize tax on billionaires. Good luck on that. Once this gets on the ballot, Californians will all want to "stick to the rich". And once it's in place, it will be renewed. It won't really be a one-time thing. They'll extend it, no doubt. And Newsom won't be able to do anything. The Google guys did right to move out.
