Google is trashing their flagship product by trying to incorporate AI.  The Register has also noticed that Google search with AI just gives you spammy garbage. In my experience, it's not all like that, but certain search terms will generate this, such as when you search for items to spend money on. Too bad for Google – they're becoming the Alta Vista of the modern era.
