Strike Nation. Now Kaiser pharmacists are going on strike. Nurses and EMTs, too. Things are just breaking down all over. When everyone demands higher pay for less work, and struggling employers can't pay it without cutting corners and taking away services and the nice things we used to enjoy, we all suffer.
Back in 2012, the ILWU encouraged workers to do a work slow-down to protest a squabble with ICTSI that is detailed here. I guess the union thought that the opposing party would cave, because that's what happens when union workers unite, right? Now the ILWU is bankrupt from all those legal fees. No winners here, except the lawyers.
